Ok, so I stole the quote from the late Steve Jobs, however, I have to agree that everything we do in life starts with a great product. So about me, well you can see my career history from my LinkedIn but I guess my love for this industry started with my Grandpa, who was auto electrician and working alongside my uncle every Saturday at the family garage from 12, winding starter motors and rebuilding alternators. From that moment I knew I was destined to be in the automotive industry, so I started my apprenticeship with British Telecom at the age of 16.
Soon after qualifying as a LCV and HGV mechanic I realized that I was destined to move into management and at 21 moved into the head office to learn everything fleet. Designing products to make peoples lives easier from Fleet Managers to the staff was a real passion and where my focus was to lead me.
Interests
A family man, married for 8 years, I have a boy Marty (12) and a girl Iris (6) I am a massive music fan, I love listening to bands and going to festivals, I was the lead singer in a Green Day tribute band in my 20's.
I love to socialize, going out for a beer and food with friends
